What is Zumba? It's a Latin-influenced dance-fitness programme that has taken the UK by storm.  It's a craze that has made a huge impact because it encompasses almost everything we want in a workout - cardiovascular conditioning in the form of a good calorie burning class, with some resistance training included in the mix, as well as a large dose of fun. You will completely forget that you're taking a fitness class - so ditch the workout and join the party!

What is Zumba Gold?  It's a programme specifically aimed at active seniors, beginners to exercise and participants with minor physical limitations (e.g. osteoarthritis). 

​

Where can you find a class?  I run weekly sessions in Pinner, Bushey, Ickenham, Croxley Green and Sarratt.  All my classes are drop-in so there's no need to pre--book.  Please check out the Class Schedule page for full details.

CLASSES CLOSED FOR 1 WEEK: 29TH APRIL - 2ND MAY 2024

I will be on holiday for a week (29th April - 2nd May) and there will be no classes on these dates.

MAY DAY BANK HOLIDAY - MONDAY 6TH MAY

10.30am class:  This class will go ahead at Pinner Village Hall.  

12.15pm class: The Bushey class has been cancelled. will not run on 6th May.

SPRING BANK HOLIDAY - MONDAY 27TH MAY

A decision is yet to be made about holding the usual classes in Pinner and Bushey.  Please re-visit this website on 22nd May for further details.

PINNER CLASS - PERMANENT CHANGE OF VENUE 

I have decided to permanently relocate the Pinner class w.e.f. 8th January 2024.  We will be moving to Pinner Village Hall, Chapel Lane, Pinner HA5 1AA.  Please be aware that there is 1 hour’s free parking in the car park directly outside the Hall, however you will still need to use the Pay & Park app if you intend to avail yourself of this service.  I would suggest that you download the app on your phones and set it up before the first session.  Alternatively, you can park in the Sainsbury’s car park, 12 Barters Walk, Pinner HA5 5LU, where you get 2 hours’ free parking*, and walk over to the hall.  Lidl’s (at the top of Bridge Street) is also an option (providing 2 hours’ free parking*), but it’s a little further away.

St Oswald's is unavailable on 24th July. Details of an alternative venue tbc.  ​

MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT - FUNDRAISING UPDATE

Many thanks to everyone who participated in Macmillan Cancer Support fundraising class events in September, and for the very  generous in-person and online donations.  I am pleased to confirm that the final amount raised is £966.35 – a truly phenomenal sum.  It will be used to support those suffering from cancer in their hour of need.  Thanks everyone!
